Ivory worth Sh12 million has been seized in Mariakani, Kilifi County.

Police have arrested three suspects in connection with the ivory.

The three were arrested in a house with the six pieces of ivory weighing 70 kilogrammes.

Mariakani police boss Ramson Lolmodoni while confirming the Monday incident said the suspects will be arraigned in court for ivory trafficking.

The suspects had planned to smuggle the ivory for the international market.
