A senior Orange democratic Movement official has alleged that the country has lost over Ksh 2.4 Trillion to corruption since the Jubilee government assumed power.
Philip Etale who is the director of communications at the orange party on Monday told Radio Jambo that the government was milking the country dry by failing to address the runaway corruption.
"We have lost over Ksh 2.4 Trillion since this government came to power because of graft.They have refused to address the matter and are instead presiding in it.If we are not careful then this country will be declared bankrupt,"he said.
He went ahead to enumerate the various corruption scandals that have have hit the Jubilee government since it came to power saying that The National Youth Service scam (NYS), The Hustler Jet linked to deputy president William Ruto, the Ministry of Health scandal as well as the Langata primary school land grabbing were some of the mega scandals that are yet to be fully addressed.
He however insisted that as the opposition they would continue unearthing graft without any fear.
