On Friday, Crystal Air Cruises announced that its private jet will make a flight from Hong Kong to Nairobi on September 30.
The Hong Kong-based airline intends to launch a Sh4.6m ticket flight to Nairobi in an attempt to test Kenya's holiday destinations.
Following the improvement of security in the country, European airlines have recommenced flights to Kenya. This is after Kenya devoted over Sh300bn in arming the police and the Kenya Defense Forces to combat terror threats.
The private jet belongs to Genting Hong Kong and will carry 86 passengers to Kenya who will be accommodated by Villa Rosa Kempinski in Nairobi and the Governors Camp in the Masai Mara Game Reserve.
"I am delighted that our parent company, Genting Hong Kong, is introducing Crystal Skye - a wondrous new experience to the discerning travellers of Asia Pacific," said Crystal CEO and President Edie Rodriguez.
The airline has listed prices for the trip start at $45,000 which is about Sh4.6m per guest with the aim of targeting clients with high net worth.
