Muhoroni Constituency has put a side Sh49 million from their CDF fund for the construction of more than 20 classrooms in different schools.
The area MP Onyango Koyoo said the allocation is huge since it is a spill over from the last financial year.
Koyoo said no public fund will be misused during his tenure and every penny for every development will be used prudently.
Speaking to the press in Kisumu, Koyoo said education remains his dream during his tenure as the MP.
He said the funds have been evenly distributed to construct classrooms in secondary and primary schools across the constituency.
Koyoo said no part of the constituency will be sidelined in the sharing of the resources in the area. He said the construction will be monitored by public works officials who will authorize payments upon successful completion.
The MP said public funds under his watch will not be swindled and even warned officers working in the CDF office to be prepared to be taken to court if they are found to be misusing such funds.
“I am putting on notice CDF staff who might be tempted to swindle public funds that I will not defend them,” he said.
