Detectives on Friday arrested two Nigerian suspected drug dealers and seized some Sh5 million heroin in Mombasa.
Gageche Gold Patience and James Chukwu were arrested in the morning operation and 1.5-kilogramme heroin impounded in a Nyali apartment.
According to the Head of the Anti–Narcotics Unit Hamis Massa, the drugs were smuggled into the country from Tanzania.
“Acting on intelligence, we carried out an operation and arrested the two with drugs stashed in a suitcase. The two are wanted drug traffickers,” he said.
