Huruma Eye Clinic which cost Sh8.3 million is set to benefit residents of Uasin Gishu county to access medical services at a lower cost.

Speaking in Eldoret after flagging off an ambulance in the county on Wednesday, Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago said the hospital will benefit residents of other counties too.

“Medical practitioners who will be brought to this hospital will be highly trained to handle patients well,” said the governor.

He said that Sh534 million has been set aside by the Ministry of Health to renovate all hospitals in the county.

He further urged medical practitioners in the county to ensure quality services to patients.
