Kisumu East Member of Parliament Shakeel Shabbir has said the Jubilee government will be sent home in 2017 just like the way Kanu regime was dismissed in 2002.

Speaking in his office yesterday during a press conference, Shabbir said that Cord had put in place all the necessary strategies which would see the Jubilee government being defeated in the 2017 general elections.

“Kenyans are tired of the Jubilee regime. The cost of living is becoming unbearable. People no longer trust this government. We will elect a better leader from Cord who will take care of Kenyans' welfare,” he added.

Shabbir said that the Jubilee administration lead by Uhuru Kenyatta had failed to deliver its promises.

"Jubilee promised one million jobs for youths every year but there are no jobs. They are using the youths to siphon tax payers' money," added the legislator.
