Addressing Jubilee party candidates at the Mombasa Women Hall, Shabhal said though there are internal differences, the hopefuls should unite.

"We will have our internal differences, but we should work towards uniting in the end," said Shabhal.

He urged all Jubilee members to take full responsibility to ensure they clinch all the seats that are on offer.

"We do not have to only campaign in Mombasa. We have over thirty campaigns which we must take part in. No one individual can do all the campaigns," he said.

Shabhal, who has declared interest in the Mombasa governor's seat called for hard work in the party and shunning of blame games by members.

"If you want to build the party, get inside. Don't stand outside and throw stones into the party," he said.

The forum was organised by the "Warembo na UhuRuto" caucus founder, Warda Ahmed.
