Mombasa County Governor hopeful Suleiman Shahbal has dismissed reports of emerging fractures in the Jubilee Party camp in the county.
This comes just days after his running mate Ananiah Mwaboza's supporters accused Shahbal of sidelining them.Responding to the reports, Shahbal said that all is well within the JP camp that is keen to wrestle power from ODM's Hassan Joho.Shahbal said their camp is strong enough to unseat Joho as they amplify their campaigns in readiness for a bruising battle in August. The governor hopeful accused his rivals of planting seeds of discord in the party. He further unleashed a blistering attack on Governor Joho's development record, and asked him to account for the billions of shillings he has allegedly misappropriated.Jubilee and NASA are both keen to control the vote-rich county with Jubilee's top brass being frequent visitors of the region, which is considered to be an opposition turf.
