Mombasa gubernatorial aspirant Suleiman Shahbal  has downplayed claims that the Jubilee party is not popular in the county.Speaking during a press briefing in Mombasa on Tuesday, Shahbal said those peddling the lies can't see or think, adding that the effect of Jubilee party's infiltration in Mombasa will be felt in the August polls."The idea that Jubilee is not popular in Mombasa is wrong. Those people refusing to acknowledge the infiltration of the Jubilee party in the coastal county have either stopped to see or think and they will be awaken come August," said Shahbal. The governor hopeful further said that the move by a section of politicians to decamp from the opposition to the Jubilee party was guided by the people's call for development.Shahbal said Mombasa residents were tired of childish politics by the current Mombasa leadership."The recent shift by politicians from the opposition to the Jubilee party is due to the call by the people for development to be undertaken in the coastal region. The people of Mombasa are tired of childish leadership being exercised by Joho," said Shahbal.
