Kisii County Governor, James Ongwae has been challenged to ensure the county cake is fairly shared out and distributed amongst the county's nine sub-counties.
This is said to enhance equity and inclusiveness in distribution of resources and employment opportunities in the county.
Kitutu Chache South MP, Richard Onyonka, has warned Ongwae against skewed distribution of county resources and employment opportunities to avert a backlash from residents in the sub-counties who feel shortchanged in the sharing out of resources and employment opportunities.
Speaking yesterday at Gusii Stadium, during the official launch of the Kisii County Flag and other instruments of power, Onyonka disclosed that he had received a short text message from a member of the public.
The message was requesting him to remind Ongwae that members of the public in the county demand that county resources and employment opportunities be shared fairly for the benefit of all residents in the County.
Onyonka's remarks came amid public discontent on the manner in which resources and employment opportunities are shared out and distributed across the county by the Ongwae administration.
