Share with those in need Kipchoge urges Kenyans

Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge has urged Kenyans to share with the less fortunate in the society during this festive season.

He said this is a season of giving, therefore, we should remember those in need since blessed is the hand that gives than the one that receives.

“Christmas is the time of sharing where we remember children in orphanages, widows, street children’s and those that cannot afford even a single meal a day,” he said at Moi Teaching and Referral Shoe for Africa Children’s Hospital after donating foodstuff to sick children for them to celebrate Christmas.

“I want also to urge Kenyans not drink while driving since it’s dangerous and may cause accidents, we need everybody alive in January 2018,” he added.

MTRH CEO Wilson K. Aruasa thanked the athletes for their noble course of celebrating with the less fortunate in the society.

“We are happy with what these athletes have done to our children, you have brought joy to their faces since they will now have something to smile about. May the Almighty God bless you abundantly,” he said.

Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge was accompanied by Mary Jepkosgei Keitany among others.
