Kariobangi Sharks Football Club has signed two players ahead of the 2018 Kenya Premier League (KPL) season. The season will officially kick off next month.

“We're pleased to announce the signings of Brian 'Makara' Juma and Morgan Oduor Odhiambo from Liberty Sports Academy and Mathare United FC respectively,”a post on the club’s face book page (Kariobangi Sharks FC) reads.

“Makara had an impressive season last year emerging as the top scorer for his club. Morgan Odhiambo is a central defender who's also had a good season at Mathare United and his addition to the team is definitely a big plus as it gives us more solid options in defense,” adds the post made on Wednesday.

The two players signed four year deals each with the club.

The William Muluya led side has already kick started training ahead of next month’s 2018 league season opener.  Kariobangi Sharks players use Utalii Grounds in Nairobi as their training venue.

The team finished third in the 2017 KPL season behind Champions Gor Mahia and second placed Sofapaka. It was the debut season for Sharks in the top tier league.

Kariobangi Sharks will open the 2018 league campaign against Nzoia United on February 3, 2018.

2017 KPL top scorer Masud Juma Choka has already left Kariobangi Sharks to join South Africa’s Cape Town City FC on a three year deal.
