Kenyan Premier League (KPL) sides Kariobangi Sharks and Sofapaka staged a barren affair in a league assignment played at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Saturday 16 September.

The game came a balanced encounter as both sides squandered chances in front of goal.

Both teams approached the first half with utmost caution.

In the second half, the teams tried to surge forward but their forward lines threw away chances.

With the draw, Sharks are ranked third while Sofapaka remain second on the log with 42 and 38 points respectively.
