Nairobi Women-rep Rachael Shebesh has received a lot of criticism after she posted photos of herself attending to a person of disability on the streets of Nairobi.

Shebesh appeared to be borrowing a leaf from a Safaricom customer care attendant as she knelt on the ground to help a disabled man.

However, Kenyans immediately took to social media to bash her for "raping our morals" and accused her of hypocrisy.

"This is absolutely raping our morals; it's disgusting and pure lack of common sense for political mileage," said Twitter user Munene Victor as quoted by the Star.

Daniel Kyalo, another user, castigated the women representative and went to the extent of labelling her the 'biggest hypocrite'.

"This is the biggest hypocrite I have seen in October. Where has she been for four years? The county government has messed Nairobi city and we should vote all these fellows out," said an infuriated Kyalo.

Isacko Galgallo wrote:

"I think it's time for the style to change if people recognise you from your wig."

Similarly, Patrick Omondi said:

"I can boldly say here that Rachel Shebesh is the worst thing that has ever happened to Nairobi."

Shebesh has not responded to phone calls or text messages over the issue.
