Although she was brought to political arena by opposition leader Raila Odinga, Rachael Shebesh, the immediate Nairobi Women Representative, had no kind words to his former boss.
The two shared podium along with President Uhuru Kenyatta in a rare occasion during the burial of Shebesh’s father, Simon Mbugua.
When she took on podium, Shebesh maintained that Jubilee will still trounce Odinga, adding that Uhuru was robbed victory.
“It is very sad that our victory was stolen in the name of judicial systems. Our votes did not count and Jakom (Raila Odinga) blames the process,” she said, claiming that Kiambu people wanted their votes to count.
She added:”I want to promise Raila that we shall beat him badly and that is the trend. He will lose and I want him to be ready to accept.”
During the 10th parliament, Odinga nominated Shebesh to parliament through ODM only for the iron lady to bolt out for TNA in 2013.
In August, Shebesh, a staunch campaigner of Uhuru, lost to ODM’s Esther Passaris in her bid to defend Nairobi Women Representative seat.
