A village in Mwingi Central is in shock after a 20 year-old-man admitted to killing his father and dumping his body in a pit latrine on Sunday.The 60 year-old-man, Isaac Musya, went missing on Sunday prompting a frantic search for his whereabouts by his kin.According to Waita Location Chief, Lawrence Mwangangi, neighbours started suspecting his son after they found him selling a goat belonging to his father at the market."The neighbours noticed the deceased had been missing for a while and upon seeing his son with his goat at the market, they quizzed him on his father's whereabouts," Mwangangi said.It was then that the chief called police to the homestead, after investigations, the son confessed to have killed his father and dumping his body at a pit latrine.The killer has since been arrested with the deceased body taken to Mwingi Level IV Hospital mortuary awaiting post-mortem to identify the cause of the death.
