A body of a middle-aged woman was found death cast in the river at Bombeta village Nyanguru sub-location Kisii county.

According to the witnesses who are also the area residents, the woman was killed and her body cast in the river although she is not a resident of the area.

“We were passing by and we found a dead body in the river later we discovered the body was a woman, but we don’t know where she comes from since she doesn't belong here,” said Wilfred Masanya a resident at the scene.

They alleged that the woman was killed from a different and her body dumped in the river

The body of the deceased was taken to Kisii hospital mortuary as investigation over the matter took shape.
