Residents of Manyani in Nakuru East sub-county are shocked by a scenario where a dog has been seen feeding a lamb. Speaking to this writer on Wednesday, area residents led by Patrick Mutua said the dog has been breastfeeding and taking care of the lamb for two weeks.

He added that the lamb was abandoned by the mother immediately after birth.

"We are surprised by this act of mercy done by the dog because its one of its kind," said Mutua.
