Shock as human skull is found  in trench

Police have launched investigations into an incident where children recovered a human skull in Maralal town while playing.

It alleged that the children were playing on Sunday morning when they found the skull inside a trench.

According to officials who confirmed the incident, many residents were left shocked because they have never such an incident before.

termed the discovery as 'strange'.

"The last time we saw a human head without it's body was twenty years ago at a zoo. This is terrible," said Maralal Nyumba Kumi chairman Solomon Wanyeki

The skull was removed by police officers who launched investigations.
