A man aged 59 years was on Sunday found dead in his house at Ngiini village Kangundo Sub County.
Area OCPD Samuel Anamptu confirmed the incident and said the body of the deceased Martin Makau was discovered by his daughter identified as Kamene and a niece Jane Wambua.
The deceased daughter said it was a shock to see her father dangling from a rope in the house he was living in alone.
The OCPD said the daughter and niece knocked the door but there was no response.
“The duo forced their way in when the man failed to open the door only to found the man had hanged himself using a rope,” said the OCPD.
Anamptu said there was no suicide note left behind.
The OCPD urged the public not to take own lives instead involve church elders to solve problems in life.
