Residents of pipeline estate in Nakuru were treated to a bizarre scenario on Monday after a middle-aged man went berserk and ate grass. According to witnesses, the man who was not immediately identified started behaving peculiarly before going on his fours and started chewing grass.
“We don’t know him or what he did, we just spotted him eating grass like a cow,” Josephine Wanjeri said.
According to Wanjeri, the man might have been bewitched. “We suspect he was bewitched after maybe stealing someone’s property, it’s shocking,” Wanjeri said.
The incident attracted onlookers but could not help as the victim did not utter a word.
A video of the incident has gone viral after it was uploaded on facebook by blogger Elijah Kinyajui.
The man was taken to Nakuru PGH hospital by police.
