Residents of Ngunga village in Matungulu, Machakos County have woken up to a rude shock after they found body of a middle aged man dumped by the roadside on Thursday.
According to Kyanzavi chief Dominic Munyao, the deceased went home together with his brother on Tuesday night only to be found today dumped few kilometres from his home.
Munyao said the preliminary findings show that the man was murdered elsewhere and the body moved to the scene.
“There was no sign of struggle in the area where the body was dumped, it is likely the man was killed somewhere else and the body dumped here," Munyao said.
He said his death was still a mystery since his body had no marks nor injuries.
Munyao said the police had been notified and investigations to unravel the mystery concerning the death have commenced.
His body was moved to Ol-donyo Sabuk mortuary awaiting postmortem.
