Meru University was engulfed by shock and disbelief after police shot dead Meru University Student Association (MUSA)Secretary-General Evans Njoroge, on Wednesday, February 27.

Witnesses have it that the student leader was shot at a close range by police officers at the university.

Evans was among students at University who was in the forefront calling for reforms at the university amidst an ongoing strike.

Kenyans online have decried the brutality demanding answers and justice for the fallen student leader.

Evans was a popular student leader who was charismatic with leadership qualities and a student who had a bright future.
