A boy in Kesemya village, Kirenget, Nakuru County was thoroughly beaten by locals over the weekend after he was nabbed in the act with a calf.According to the Standard, the 16-year-old was allegedly nabbed red handed with the calf which he had taken to a river in the area.The boy is said to be from a neighbouring village and had been employed as a herder by one of the locals.Women who were tending to a maize plantation at an adjacent field next to the river said they saw the boy drive the calf to a muddy area where it could not free itself.
The women raised alarm and angry villagers rushed to the scene before frogmarching him as he received whips and blows.The boy shocked the residents after he revealed that the act was not strange to him. After the thorough beating, he was handed his belongings by his employer and told to go back to his home never to return.
