Residents in Garissa County have been left in shock after photos emerged online showing a South Africa prophet using a live snake to perform miracles.
The prophet known as Lesego Daniel of the Rabboni Centre Ministries is seen preaching with a snake during their communion service.
In the photos that are doing rounds online, the prophet wrapped the live snake around a cross made in the shape of a cobra head while he was preaching.
He then placed the snake in the middle of the communion which was later distributed to members to eat and drink.
During the service, Prophet Daniel placed the snake on the pulpit and is also seen placing the snake on his shoulder at several points.
Interestingly, the congregation remained calm throughout the sermon while listening to the prophet.
Prophet Daniel became famous after he made his church members eat grass and drink petrol to be ‘closer to God’.

“This is too much. How can you follow a pastor who comes with a snake to church? You must be crazy to even do what he asks,” said Abdi Mohamed.
“You can’t just sit and listen to a pastor who preaches with a snake. At times we need to use our common sense when we see somethings being done in the church,” said Salima Ibrahim.
“What pastors’ do these days in church make me wonder who they are praying to and what is their purpose,” said Ahmed Rashid.
“All religious people are victims of brainwash to one extent or another, some people are unaware while others willfully participate. The snake is too much for me,” Abdirahman Noor said.
