Pupils in a class at Moto Primary School. [Photo/irinnews.org]Parents seeking admission of their children to standard one in Kuresoi were shocked after being asked to come with desks as an admission requirement. The administration of Moto Primary School has defended the requirement, saying that it has been necessitated by the lack of CDF funding.According to the principal, the school is situated on the boundary between Molo and Kuresoi North Constituencies making it difficult for it to receive funds from either constituency.''Our school is administratively in Kuresoi North but under Molo in terms of education issues. Lack of funding has made it difficult to run the school,'' Mr. Mungai told the Daily Nation. The school's administration wants the Kuresoi North MP Moses Cheboi and the Molo MP Kuria Kimani to intervene.
