A school in Elgeyo Marakwet has been after students went on a rampage on Wednesday night vandalizing property.

Students of St Peters Marakwet Boys' Secondary School were sent home after burning a dormitory and vandalising their classes, the staff room and a teacher's car.

The accounts office was also broken into where Sh35,000 was stolen.

Reports indicate that students behind the unrest sneaked out of the school on Wednesday night to take alcohol.
