Speaking to KTN's Sophia Wanuna, Wetangula said that Kalonzo had told him that Raila had invited them for lunch but the Ford Kenya leader said no.

According to Senator Wetangula, he did not see the point of honouring the invitation.

''Kalonzo reached out to me and told me that Raila had invited us for lunch at his house. I said no because I did not see the point of going. Only Musalia attended the lunch,'' Senator Wetangula said.

Wetangula's strong words have left no doubt about the grudge he holds against the NASA supremo following his dramatic ouster from his position as the Leader of the Minority in the Senate and Mr Odinga's handshake with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Mr Odinga has battled hard to quell the tensions within NASA amid accusations of betraying other principals.
