A middle-aged woman was arraigned before a Nakuru court on Tuesday for allegedly paying hitmen to kill her husband.
Gladys Wambui, together with three others, are being accused of killing Julius Kimani
Wambui is accused of paying a whopping Sh1.2 million to the killers.
Kimani, who was abducted while arriving at his Kiratina home in Nakuru's Free Area, was later found killed and his body dumped in a thicket at Manyani slum.
Kimani was a successful businessman based in Nakuri before death sucked him.
Suspects did not answer to charges as prosecution asked for more time to conclude investigations.
The case has stunned residents in the court of public opinion as opinion is divided on whether a woman would actually plan the brutal murder of her husband.
