A woman from Keroka Westland in Nyamira County fled from her matrimonial home after she successfully deserted her husband.
According to the a man who declined to be named, his wife tricked him to go for work far from home only for the woman to flee with household items.
“I was away from home because we had agreed that I should go out and look for a job. I secured a job in Kericho but when I returned home on Friday, I found nothing in the house," he said.
The man said he has been married with the woman for 5 years now and they have been living together happily.
“I love my wife who I married in 2013. I am stressed and desperate after she abandoned the home. All I need is my belongings she took so that I move on with life if she has decided we separate,” he added.
The woman is said to be haling from Bosigisa West Kitutu.
Bosigisa Chief Tom Ndege confirmed the incident and said the woman is at their parents’ home and they will make arrangements for the man’s belongings to be returned.
