Commuters in parts of Nakuru Town West have decried increased infestation of bedbugs in vehicles plying the route.

According to Rodgers Anjere, a resident of Kaptembwa, most vehicle plying the area have bedbugs.

"Yes most vehicles here operating between Rhonda-Kaptembwa and Nakuru Town have bedbugs," he said.

His sentiments were echoed by Mary Muiruri who added that she was considering switching to boda boda.

However, a driver plying the route blamed commuters for fraying the insects.

"They are to blame for this mess we find ourselves in and we just don't know what to do," said the driver who only identified as Willy.
