Transline Classic Sacco is on the receiving end following an isolated incident on Thursday that saw a Kisii University student retrieved from one of the vehicle while dead.
Shamim Deraso's body was retrieved in Afya Center terminus, the main booking stage for Transline Classic vehicles, which operates from Kisii to Nairobi.
A passenger who spoke in confidence said the university student had developed complication near Narok Town and the driver had allowed her to alight briefly.
"She requested to be given some time out of the vehicle because she was not feeling well. She however took long and some of us had to trace her in thickets.
"We found her unconscious and we had to do first aide. She showed some signs of strength and we assisted her back to the vehicle," said the witness.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, the driver had difficulties in speaking to her, little did he know that the lady was already dead.
It is however not clear where she died and why those sitting beside her could not notice in that long trip.
Kisii University Dean of Students Francis Kerongo verified the tragic news and said he was in contact with the family.
"She was one of our students and we are doing all we can o inform the family. I will give further details," he said.
Transline Classic Sacco is yet to issue an official statement in regard to the unique incident.
