Tusker’s poor form continued on Sunday after they lost 2-1 to Nakumatt FC in a Sportpesa Premier League match.
The impressive Nakumatt extended their winning streak to three in a row, and are currently in position 17 in the standings.
Tuskers, on the other hand, are placed 13th on 19 points and are still far off from the chasing pack at the top of the table.
Kevin Thairu opened the scoring in the 16th minute, only for in-form Tusker forward Brian Osumba to level matters in the 32nd minute with a well-taken effort.
Nakumatt took the lead again in the 55th minute through Cornelius Juma, with Robert Matano’s boys unable to get an equalizer.
Matano was brought in to change fortunes at the Brewers and got fans excited after winning his first and second matches at the helm.
Things have not been rosy since then and will need to go back to the drawing board to find the basics.
