Nannies have helped working-class women to achieve so much. They have been able to scale up the corporate ladder with the comfort of knowing that their young babies are well taken care of. While a majority of nannies do a wonderful job and should be appreciated, a few have shocking behaviour. They wait until you are away to execute their weird plans.
Brutality
Some nannies have been captured on CCTV cameras brutalizing the babies they are supposed to take care of. They have even been labeled,” Nannies from hell.” You will be shocked to see a “nanny from hell” slapping and roughing up a baby. And the reason they do this is because the baby has refused to eat or the baby is crying too much. Instead of opting for other better means to pacify the baby, they opt for the rod.
Eating baby’s food
Some nannies eat the baby’s food. It sounds comical but it is true. It is common in a house where the woman of the house is mean. She gives the nanny little food. This leaves the nanny with only one option; to wait until everyone has gone and then attack the baby’s food. Two reasons suffice when you try to ask yourself why a nanny would eat a baby’s food. One, she is actually feeling hungry and as the saying goes,” hunger does not discriminate.” Two, she might be doing it as a form of revenge for being given little food.
Breastfeeding the baby
This is one of the most shocking things that a few nannies do. They usually choose to breastfeed the baby in a bid to soothe him or her to sleep. We have heard several cases where a nanny infected a baby with HIV/AIDS by breastfeeding the baby.
Theft
A few nannies have long hands. They do not hesitate to dip their hands inside handbags which do not belong to them. They open safes and drawers which contain valuables. They steal items like precious jewels, money, mobile phones, etc. Some abandon the baby and the house and disappear with stolen goods.
