The proprietor of Stageview Bar and Lounge, who passed on earlier in the week, led a unique lavish lifestyle, where his office was built to withstand a bomb scare.

Popularly known as Colonel Kamiti, and known in almost every corner of the extensive Nakuru town, the proprietor opted for cremation, and his ashes well packed in a Mercedes Benz and drowned into the Indian Ocean.

His top of the range luxury car which played the role of the urn was well packed with the ashes and the journey to his ‘gravesite’ commenced forthwith.

James Mureithi, his ally, said: “It is a special burial because instead of an urn, his ashes were placed in his personal Mercedes and both sank into the sea together as his will clearly stated.”

His body was cremated on Tuesday at the Hindu crematorium near Lake Nakuru and the procedure followed to the latter as the will directed.

It is alleged that no neighbours were invited to condole the family, according to the will.
