[Photo/Courtesy]Uasin Gishu County  women representative aspirant Gladys Boss Shollei has expressed concern over the low number of people turning up at IEBC centers to verify their details ahead of August 8 elections. She said only a handful of people go for the exercise on a daily basis. "I visited several stations and I was shocked that IEBC officers only serve ten people per day," she said after meeting business community in Eldoret town, Wednesday."This only translates to ten percent turnout. Something needs to be done before things get out of hand," she added. She, however, urged voters to ensure they verify their information for them to vote."I call upon Kenyans not to ignore this  exercise since a small problem might deny you an opportunity  to choose leaders of your choice," noted Sholei. She challenged IEBC to conduct civic education countrywide. The verification exercise which commenced May 11 is expected to end on June 11, 2017.
