Jubilee Party leaders are now calling on their supporters to turn out in large numbers on Thursday to ensure a clear win for their party leader, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
The politicians warned that a low voter turnout in the ruling party strongholds would justify NASA's allegations that Uhuru and his deputy William Ruto are 'computer-generated leaders'.
"If Uhuru fails to attain eight million votes, it could give the Opposition grounds to allege its votes were stolen in the August 8 General Elections," said Embu Governor Martin Wambora on Monday.
Uasin Gishu county boss Jackson Mandago urged Jubilee leaders to mobilize residents to ensure Uhuru got more than 12 million votes.
He also claimed that NASA could be secretly planning to rally his supporters to vote on October 26, to catch Jubilee by surprise.
"The presidential election will determine whether Kenya will stand or disintegrate. Let us vote and give Uhuru a win," Mandago said, as quoted by The Standard.
The leaders were speaking during a Jubilee campaign rally in Embu County on Monday.
