[Photo|Nasa coalition]A showdown could be looming between a section of ODM MPs from the Luo Nyanza, their supporters and the police. This is after six lawmakers from Siaya County, threatened to kick out IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba, from office, in case he fails to resign, by Monday September 18.The Opposition's NASA, has been calling for dismissal of the IEBC Secretariat boss, and some of his colleagues, over a bungled August 8 election, after the Supreme Court nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election.They threatened not to participate in the fresh presidential election on October 17, if the said staff are not prosecuted. The six MPs, include Siaya Senator James Orengo, Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi, Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo, Siaya Woman Representative Christine Ombaka, Alago Usonga MP Samuel Atandi, and former Bondo MP Oburu Odinga.Speaking in Rarieda, Orengo said the electoral malpractices which led to the nullification of presidential polls were caused by Chiloba, and that he should leave the office immediately."Chiloba will never be employed anywhere after Jubilee dumps him after October 17," said Ombaka."He has only two days from now to pack his belongings from that office," Atandi said, Thursday."The country is on a revolution mode and any misguided state officers and leaders will be dealt with accordingly," added Wandayi.Speaking during a campaign rally for NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka, they warned President Uhuru Kenyatta, and his Jubilee party leaders against issuing threats to the Opposition over going to the polls with IEBC as currently constituted."We want to warn the president that if he continues to talk in an interrogative manner to our leader Raila Odinga we will also deal with him in the same measure," Orengo said.
