The Shujaa team that will represent the country in the HSBC Sevens World Series in Sydney, Australia, and Hamilton, New Zealand will be named next week.

The team will be named on Wednesday, ahead of their departure for Australia for the third and fourth rounds of the 2017/18 HSBC Series.

The team is scheduled to leave the country on January 20, as it hopes to make amends for their not-so-impressive show in Cape Town in their last series.

The Shujaaz sit 11th on the log after garnering 10 points in the Dubai leg, before a dismal performance in South Africa where they managed only 3 points.

The team will be boosted by the return of Captain Andrew Amonde, who missed the first two legs due to injury.

It will be a great relief for the team, after losing Oscar Ayodi to injury, which rules him out of the next series’ matches.

Kenya is pooled in group B with France, Argentina, and Wales. They will kick off their tournament against Argentina before facing France and then Wales.
