The Kenya national sevens team have stormed the Cup Quarters at the HSBC World Series opening leg in Dubai.
Shujaa beat Uganda 29-14 in a Friday evening match.
The win came just after they fell to South Africans 45-5 in their second match.
After the South African Boks defeated Canadians 28-0 in their other match, Kenya's march to the quarters was unstoppable.
Nondies winger Dennis Ombachi broke through a tight Ugandan defence immediately after the start whistle to make a try although it came with an injury that saw him pulled out for medication.
Samuel Oliech converted it before Ugandans equalised for a 7-7.
Eden Agero put Kenya back in the lead after some quick thinking to make matters 12-7 as Oliech failed to convert successfully.
The other tries were scored by Daniel Sikuta.
