In an interview, the vocal Nakuru MCA said politics should not be used to hinder development.

“We need to change the way we do our politics and focus on development. We were elected to be servants and that is what we should do,” he said.

Mbae reminded the MCAs that they only have three financial years to work for the people.

According to him, the focus of any elected leader should be how to improve the livelihood of the electorates.

“We have only three financial years and this should be used to ensure service delivery to the people,” he added.

His sentiments come at a time when the Nakuru County government has invited residents for the Public Participation Forums on Budget 2018/2019 estimates.
