The opposition Cord coalition has been challenged to solve the education sector crisis and stop attacking CS Mating'i agaisnst alleged mishandling of the KCSE exams.
Kigumo MP Jamleck Kamau has claimed that the opposition was turning the exam results into a political battle with the Jubilee administration.
Kamau was speaking in responce to Cord leader Raila Odinga's calls to have the results audited.
“Cord is trying to seek political mileage but we urge them not to mess around with the education system as they will mess the lives of our children. The kids we are sponsoring are from needy backgrounds,” he said.
He said that Mating'i should be given room to conduct his business of cleaning up the education sector.
‘You cannot joke with the future of our kids. We need to allow and support Education CS Fred Matiang’i as he strives to clean it up," said Kamau.
The lawmaker further hailed Matiang'i for bringing change in the education sector.
