A man in Ugenya, Siaya county, was killed by his brother in-laws after he allegedly beat his wife to death.
Boaz Ochieng, 45, was, Tuesday night attacked by angry brothers to the wife at his home in Odiado village, Kagonya sub-location. They beat him to death.
According to the area Assistance chief, Francis Onyango Baraza, who confirmed the incidence, the deceased had argued with his wife, Celestine Ochieng’ before battering her to death.
“According to reports from residents, the man also forced his wife to consume unknown poisonous substance which contributed to her death. This irked the brothers’ in-law,” Baraza is quoted by Citizen Digital.
The bodies of the two were later moved to Ugenya Sub County Hospital mortuary
