Cases of sibling rivalry in NASA are now more manifest than can be hidden.
On Friday, rivalry between ODM's TJ Kajwang’ and Elizabeth Ongoro of ANC almost went violent when NASA leaders got to the ground.
This came when Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi made their first stopover on Outering Road, something that made supporters get violent in trying to outdo each other.
In the confusion, a person of an unknown identity lobbed teargas at the crowd and occupants of Governor Evans Kidero's car almost choked.
But when the crowd calmed down, Mudavadi and Raila were at it again, endorsing their respective candidates.
“Here we are in Ruaraka and I know kuna fahali wawili wanamenya (there are two bulls fighting),” Raila said as his candidate, Kajwang’, was carried high by supporters.
When the microphone was handed to Mudavadi, he did not say much but instead passed it to Ms Ongoro.
This was not received well by Kajwang’ who immediately demanded to speak, forcing Raila to request for the microphone so Kajwang could address the audience.
The rivalry was also seen in Embakasi where Odinga and Kalonzo were supporting different candidates.
“Brother Raila has asked you to vote six-piece and support Esther Passaris (ODM) for woman representative post but as Wiper, here he have Rahab Ndambuki,” Kalonzo said.
