The Society for International Development (SID) will on Tuesday launch their 2015 citizen report card.
The report card is titled 'Voices from the Counties: Lessons from the 2015 Citizen Report Card.
The organisation's associate director and renowned activist Irungu Houghton will be among the speakers during the launch, set to take place at Monarch Hotel in Kilimani, Nairobi.
Joan Njagi, Research Policy Officer, and Orwa Michael, Programme Manager, are also scheduled to speak at the launch.
The report reveals that although citizen participation has increased significantly.
Over the last three years, however, information on county budgets and priorities have remained low among citizens.
The 2015 report also discloses that the culture of clientelism is still prevalent, as a greater majority of Kenyans contact elected representatives for personal reasons.
The report card is based on a national survey conducted in August 2015.
2,404 respondents were involved across 10 counties.
The survey aimed at gauging the sentiments and perceptions of citizens with regard to the realisation of four key promises of the 2010 Kenyan constitution- namely, Public participation, integrity, equality and non -discrimination and devolution.
Also expected at the launch are leaders from 40 government and non-governmental agencies, including the Ministry of Devolution and Planning, Public Service Commission and County Assemblies Forum.
