You and your girlfriend are relaxing at home. Everyone is minding his and her business. It is one of those Weekends that you guys have no plans so you spend most of your time hooked on a computer or phone. You are checking your mail while she is chatting on various social media platforms. Then she comes where you are seated and shows you a picture of a baby, "is she not a cute baby?” she asks.
You respond casually. Well, the baby is cute. You agree. But you leave the matter at that. You ignore her and get back to responding to your emails. What you do not know is that it was never about the cute baby. It was about the two of you. In fact, by showing you the picture of a cute baby, she was basically asking you, “When are we getting ours?”
Women have a funny way of going about the, “when are we getting our own baby” business. They will not tell you on the face. They will show you some signs and expect you to interpret them accordingly.
I will make a wonderful mother
When your girlfriend keeps telling you and assuring you how she will make a wonderful mother, then it is a sign that she wants a baby. Do not talk those talks lightly.
The following could be signs she is ready for a baby:
1. Admiring mothers
If your girlfriend is constantly admiring mothers, then it shows she wants to be one. How else can she be a mother if not by having a baby? Every time you guys are outdoors, she will keep pointing at a mother and say how she admires the mother and her baby.
2. Baby showers
If your girlfriend is the type who never misses baby showers, then it is high time you put her in the family way. Sometimes, she would insist you accompany her to those baby shower functions. What she is basically telling you is to make her a mother so that she can also organize her own baby shower.
3. No protection
You people have been using protection ever since you started having sex. All of a sudden, your girlfriend does not want you to use protection. It is only a dump-head who will not read between the lines. By refusing to use protection or birth control pills, it means she wants to get a baby.
4. Getting attached to other babies
When your girlfriend develops a strong emotional attachment to other babies, then it might mean that she wants her own. You will find her spending most of her time playing with the neighbor’s baby. Or you will find that she enjoys playing mother to other babies (false motherhood). She might be communicating something to the effect that she wants her own babies.
