Most of the times you will not really see the need to see a therapist to resolve the issues around your relationship, however, there are signs that cannot be ignored unless you want to call it quits or you're tired of trying. 

Such signs include the following.

Having the same arguments. It is normal to argue with your partner. It’s part of any and all relationships that are serious, however when you keep on arguing over the same thing all the time, then there is a problem and it needs to be resolved before it drains the relationship completely.

Trust issues. Trust is vital for any relationship to thrive, if it’s not strong enough, your relationship will not be as strong as it should be. Brocken trust is also hard to build and maybe seeing a counselor can help restore the trust that your partner once had in you. Trying never hurts if you really want to save your relationship.

Always finding fault. This is a very serious sign that you should consider seeing a counselor. You are either the problem or your partner is. The best way to combat this problem is to include a third party who will create a common ground and correct both of you.
