The following are all signs you're dehydrated that might be a bit unexpected that will help you catch dehydration sooner.Feeling tiredIf you feel tired during the day then thats a clear sign that you are dehydrated.When you’re dehydrated the volume of your blood lowers, which means that the body has to work harder to pump it to the brain. And when yout brain is not oxygenated properly you might feel sleepy.Bad breathYour saliva has some bodily functions one of which is to sweep bacteria out of your mouth. When you are not drinking water you may experience dry mouth or lack of saliva. This will eventually cause bacteria to build up leading to bad breath.Cravings for sweetsWhen you get fully dehydrated your body might be fully aware that it needs something. Sometimes it is not able to translate what it is exactly. This may cause you to crave for sweet stuff.This is from the failed effort of your body to break down glycogen to release it as glucose for energy.When it can’t create that energy, it assumes it needs more food, even when what it needs is actually more water.Dry skinIt makes sense that when your body is dehydrated yyour skin is dry. Try to pinch your skin and if it’s a little more sluggish than usual as it flattens back out, this could be due to dehydration.Muscle crampsThe hotter the muscles are, the more likely that they will start cramping up.Keeping them hydrated will help. Muscle cramps are not only caused by lack of potassium.HeadachesHeadaches can also be caused by dehydration. This might even be the cause of some migraines.Drinking water won’t always cure a headache, but it is certainly a good thing to try when one strikes.
