Simba Arati has dismissed his detractors as busybodies adding that nothing will deter his dreams to lead Abagusii community to 'Canaan'.
The second term Dagoretti North MP was installed as the community's spokesperson, a move that attracted criticism from among local leaders.
With sources intimating that Arati could be positioning himself for Kisii gubernatorial seat, the youthful MP has accused his critics of 'shallow thinking' saying that he is a fighter.
"I do not fight small wars as they want me now to believe. I go for big thinks and I am not scared of those afraid of me.
"In fact, I can even be president of this country. All I need is support from our people. Let us not just concentrate in fighting small wars," he said.
Among those who now wants to replace him as spokesperson include Richard Onyonka, Fred Matiang'i and Kisii senator Sam Ongeri.
So determined is the ODM legislator that he has diverted his political base from Nairobi to Nyanza. On Monday, he was pictured at Homa Bay with area MP Gladys Wanga.
